TurnKey Operations is a locally owned and operated state of the art traffic control company.  The TurnKey Operations staff includes experienced, highly motivated office personnel, certified traffic control technicians, supervisors, managers and custom sign shop designers. Our traffic control equipment meets or exceeds specifications for TXDOT, City of Austin and the MUTCD!

TurnKey Operations goal is to provide great service and peace of mind knowing your work zone or special event will be safe for the traveling public, your employees and event participants.

TKO events division manages major running events around the country and produces events from Austin, Texas. Great new races like the Austin 10/20 are being developed and will be launched soon!

Andrew Lake

General Manager

Andrew Lake has over 15 years of experience in the traffic management Industry. Andrew started his career in the United States Army in 1991 and has pursued the field of traffic control joining United Rentals Highway Technologies in 2001. As Traffic Control Operations manager at Highway Technologies Andrew took part in all operations from setting Traffic Control Devices, Rentals, Dispatch, Sales, and Special Events.

Today, Andrew's key role at TurnKey Operations as general manager is to oversee all operations as well as creating new initiatives that will facilitate the long term growth strategies of the organization.

Peter Douglass

President & CEO

Peter Douglass started TurnKey Operations in the summer of 2009 with the goal of creating a different kind of traffic control company with a better approach to customer service. Entering 2011, TurnKey Operations will be expanding traffic management operations and will open up a special event division. Mr. Douglass has been working in event production and traffic control management since 1989 and is well known as a leader and innovator in the industries. Previously, he was a founding partner of Elite Racing Inc., based in San Diego Ca, which became the Competitor Group. In over twenty years of event work he has designed and created hundreds of high profile running events such as the Carlsbad 5000 and the rock n roll marathon running series. Mr. Douglass currently directs TKO events out of Austin and consults with nationally prominent event management companies to produce world class races across the United States.

A graduate of the University of California at Berkley in 1986 and a lifelong Californian, Mr. Douglass now lives in Austin with his wife and three children.
